According to the Slovenian Press Agency, the paraglider was earlier reported as missing by his friends after he failed to return from his noon jump from the
Kobala hill in the mountain area.

As the group failed to contact him, they called the rescue services. The Tolmin mountain rescuers scanned the area with an army helicopter and eventually
