and five in Macao.
The esteemed restaurant guide features 238 restaurants in Hong Kong and 68 in Macao, including 80 starred restaurants -- 61 in Hong Kong and 19 in Macao --
along with 75 Bib Gourmand-rated eateries serving three-set menus for a maximum
of 300 Hong Kong dollars (38.7 U.S. dollars).
In this selection, the entirety of three-star restaurants, of which six are in Hong Kong and two in Macao, maintain their stars -- a distinction enjoyed by

Nineteen restaurants were awarded two stars, including two new entries each from Hong Kong and Macao.
Meanwhile, the guide awards 53 restaurants with one star, including 41 in Hong Kong and 12 in Macao, representing all styles of cuisine. Ten of the
restaurants were awarded for the first time.
"I'm pleased to tell you that Hong Kong and Macao remain among the finest, most exciting and dynamic dining destinations in the world today," Michael
Ellis, international director of the Michelin Guides, told a press conference
