walls. it sometimes would decide that ALL minions were wallds. Get wall
stuns in the middle of the lane no problem.
Some things are coded as minions because it is easy. This created situations in the past where you could smite it and kill it instantly.
Even if it shouldn have been smitable. Mostly applied to clones (Smite
shaco, either you failed to smite him (and knew it was him), or you
smited his clone, chunking it hard, but it also had. bad interactions
with old Yorick ult. Which in and of itself was a righteous mess of a
skill.
Ultimately, the problem with coding as minions is because it is easy, it gets defaulted to at times. And they are NOT stable. Minion coded
skills was the only way they could do some skills in the past, but we
are FAR past that now. We shouldn still be seeing skills coded as
minions just because its the easy way out, because that is what creates
cases like Irelia E triggering Doran Ring 8 times to nearly refund it
entire cost.
Were your engages good engages? Did they have a large minion wave when you went in? Did you know where the jungler was? Did you harass the
opposing adc while they tried to farm? Did you peel for your adc in
fights instead of hard engaging? ADCs are very reliant on gold and if
you put them in a position where they fall behind the item curve they
can auto attack all teamfight long and do very little damage.
Alternatively if you not peeling for them they can be super ahead and get blown up at the beginning of a fight, again dealing no damage. If
your adc is doing low damage in bronze/silver chances are a big part of
it is on your own play as a support.Its a buggy slapshod way to code it
that should have long been moved past, because Riot isn an Indie company
anymore.
