Two New York women arrested after Severna Park massage parlor investigation
Police said they arrested two New York women Wednesday after investigating a Severna Park massage parlor.
Undercover Anne Arundel County police officers visited Evergreen
Massage at 160 Ritchie Highway to determine whether there was
prostitution activity at the business, according to charging documents

Jundai Wu, 54, has been charged with four counts of general
prostitution and one count of performing massage therapy without a
license, electronic court records show. Huifang Liang, 49, has been
charged with one count of performing massage therapy without a license,
online records show.
Both were released on their own recognizance Wednesday, court records show. Neither had an attorney listed in court
records.Both women had an address in the 7000 block of Americana Circle
in Glen Burnie listed in court records, but police wrote in charging
documents that Wu and Liang were identified by their New York State
identification cards.
The undercover detectives visited the business — located directly across from the Earleigh Heights Volunteer Fire
Company — around 11 a.m. Wednesday and asked for massages, charging
documents detail. One detective was greeted by Wu, the other by Liang.
Each detective asked for a 30-minute massage, according to charging
documents. Both detectives paid with police department money and
received massages.
According to charging documents, in order to practice massage therapy a person must be licensed by the Maryland
Department of Health’s Board of Massage Therapy Examiners.
