EA already revealed Eden Hazard as an official FIFA 20 cover athlete for the game's Standard Edition. Also joining the first four players is Hazard's Real Madrid teammate Luka Jovic and Atletico Madrid's Joao Felix. With Felix a recent signing for Atletic Madrid he will try to replace departing star Antoine Griezmann. The latter of these stars is attempting to officially join Barcelona for his next season.The 21-year-old Jovic is a talented young star. Unfortunately, he was recently injured in a pre-season friendly, as he collided with Atletico's Jan Oblak. So far, there are no updates on Jovic's condition, but clearly Real Madrid, their fans, and those who pick up his OTW item are hoping he'll make a quick return.
Fans who are new to the game will want to know that FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT) is a special mode in the game allowing gamers to create their own "super team" of players. These Ultimate Teams are built with player cards that gamers can get in the game via FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT) packs, in-game challenges, transfer market bidding, or through other promotions.
The Ones to Watch are special player items in FIFA 20 Ultimate Team that upgrade during the season. Basically, if any of the players achieves an in-form, Man of the Match, Hero, Record Breaker, or European Team of the Tournament item, their OTW item upgrades.
There will be more FIFA 20 Ultimate Team OTW reveals coming as EA mentioned July 31 is the next reveal date. The FIFA 20 game itself arrives on September 27, 2019, with FIFA pre-order copies going out to gamers three days earlier. FIFA 20 will be available for the PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Windows PCs.
