“iFlytek wants to contribute to building a community of shared future for mankind,” said Liu Qingsheng, senior vice president of
iFlytek’s consumer business.
Currently, iFlytek’s consumer business covers products like translators and robots, featuring voice recognition or translation
features.
The company's consumer base is now 10 times greater than three years ago. In the long term, consumer business will account for 50 percent of
the company’s total revenue, compared with about 20 percent now, Liu
said during an interview with Shanghai Daily.
In the first nine months, revenue reached 6.6 billion yuan, 24.4 percent growth year on year. Net profit was 374 million yuan, 70.5
percent up from a year ago.iFlytek’s translators will be used in 1,762
expo hotels and other CIIE sites. The Translator 3.0 supports 58
languages for real-time translation. The database covers finance,
medicine, sports, trade and computing.
More than 1.6 million developers and organizations are using iFlytek’s translation services, making it smarter and more accurate,
said Liu.
