Maria Wasti is one of the most talented actors of Pakistan. These days she is busy with her own productions that include sitcoms, plays and music programmes.
Talking to The Nation Plus, Maria said that some of her productions would be filmed in USA, Canada and Malaysia. She also revealed that soon she would be going to Dubai to shoot an Indian movie that has not yet been titled. Saleem Sheikh will make a guest appearance along with her in the film.
Maria said that while in Dubai she would also host some fashion shows.
Maria is also acting in director Arif Khan's soap 'Kesi Hai Zindagi' and a play 'Balkees Edhi', which are currently under production.
She said that she enjoyed acting in a play, 'Badloan Pe Basera'.
About working in India, she said that she would like to work there but on certain conditions, "There can be no compromise on principles. Our audience is crazy about Indian artistes just because of media hype. The Indian media has promoted their stars not only in their own country but also all over Pakistan. If our artistes are introduced there and our work gets seen, then I am sure we will be as popular and famous across the border as they are here," she said.
When asked about her wedding plans, Maria said that she was leading a very busy life and hadn't had time to think about it.
"Marriage is not on the cards right now," she declared, "Though that doesn't mean I am denying it as a universal reality."

On the one hand Maria Wasti has always refused to work in Pakistani films but has straight away agreed to an Indian flick. Even its only a guest appearence.
She is supposed to be one of the most talented female artist of Pakistan.
