The alloy chilled cast iron roll uses the subcooling of the molten iron itself and the surface of the mold to cool. The roll is manufactured alloyed with Ni, Cr, Mo elements. There's a uniform working layer structure with a small change in hardness to ensure the quality of the chilled cast iron roll. The matrix structure of the working layer basically has no free graphite inside with high hardness and excellent wear resistance and the hardness of the roll can be produced according to the requirements with the hardness of the outer layer ranging from HS40-95.
