I only do it in obedience to Allah. Ofcourse it is a sunnah of Prophet Ibrahim just as Prophet SAW said: "Its a sunnah of your father Ibrahim."

It is human nature to give from its own for to a beloved. Their is satisfaction in it.

Some people find great satisfaction in giving to loved ones out of love just to see them happy.

hmm whts wrong in SD's post ... sahee tu kaha hai .. some people feels haapy when they sacrifice for others ..

example is ki kay jaab waqayee koi needy banda mangta hai aur app us ko kuch daitay hein .. (kuch aisee cheez jis kay begair app ka guzra hoo sakta hai laiken us ka nahi) tu us kay chehray ki khushi deekh ker jo satisfaction millti hai wo asal khushi hoti hai ..

like every week or month hum ko kisi resturant main khana hota hai koi outing par jana hota hai ... agar hum na khain , na jain aur kisi zaroorat mand ki madad ker dein tu ye kind of sacrifice hai ... although aisay loog bohat kam hain ...

sacrifice to woh hota hai jo Allah miyan ki khushi k liye kiya jae, apni khushi liye nahi

I think sacrifice is what parents make for their children, by not fulfilling all their dreams and desires so they can work to make their child's life more comfortable and fulfilling. Or indeed in the case of some young mothers who drop out of college to have a family.

Butcher pulls one chic out and slaughters it!
rest of 'em sitting in the cage are only waiting for their turn. Its only a matter of when.

Just like chicks, we think we are not in a cage. When the butchers hand reaches out to chic's neck, that's when it realizes of its time. No matter how happy and peacefully they live in the cage, they will all meet the same fate, unless someone delivers them from the cage.
