The
Korean automaker Kia Motors is set to launch its all electric car the
Kia EV6 later this month. The automaker has now revealed the full design of its upcoming EV 6. The technical details, key features and price of the vehicle will be explained at the official launch of the EV6.
The Kia EV6 is based on
Hyundai’s new E-GMP platform. As far as the looks and appearance of the car are concerned it is similar to its Korean competitor. The front of the vehicles is similar to that of new Kia 5. At the rear side it has a Sportback design similar to the new
Aston Martin DBX SUV, and the unbroken lightbar across the back is also a design aspect of the majority of the new KIA vehicles.
According to Kia’s design chief, Karim Habib:
“EV6, as the first dedicated Kia EV, is a showcase of human-centered, progressive design and electrified power. We strongly believe EV6 is a compelling and relevant model for the new EV market, With EV6 we aimed to create a distinctive, impactful design by using a combination of sophisticated, high-tech features on pure and rich volumes, while providing a unique space as a futuristic EV”
