NFAKfan, no one gotta prob with HOLLYWOOD cuz THEY ARE THE BEST...so there's no point in dissing them...
No one say anything about BOLLYWOOD, cuz they are the only ASIAN film INDUSTRY that makes movies in our LANGUAGE and make it LOOK GOOD...they don't use a 100 year old camera...
and the main thing HOLLYWOOD and BOLLYWOOD both got is, TECHNOLOGY!!

lol. firstly, i agree with tracker sahib! however it is...its pakistan's, so its the best by default!!
i'll tell u whats funny man...its an industry as big as bollywood, copying stories from hollywood and music from lollywood. THATS funny. as big as they are, as 'technologicaly' advaced they are, you'd think they have enough class and resources to stick to their own ideas. when i see a hit lollywood movie (as rare as they are), i admire them more for making it a hit with the limited resourses they have.

and the way i see it that, i know bollywood steal stories from hollywood and lollywood (sometimes) and so does lollywood steals it from hollywood n bollywood, but even after takin a story from an other industry atleast bollywood make it look good and we know that after watching that BOLLYWOOD movie our heads won't be hurtin but we're gona come out (that if u know what you're watching) and Hollywood don't steal stories from others, they maybe make a remake of some movie but they won't just go on stealin it...
so yea i don't like watchin crap, cuz i aint got money to waste, that's why i don't even bother watchin lollywood...
pakistan TV shows all the way, i admit their tv shows and pop singers are one of the best, that's where i see talent and i never think twice when i go to rent a pak tv show or to go buy a music cd...but lollywood is just there for nothing, just makin us PAKIZ look bad over seas...

you're right that the quality of pakistani films is a little worse than hollywood and bollywood. but again, you have to look at the resourses we have. u look at the new hollywood movie bad boys II. they blew up a real-life $40 million US home!! pakistan's ENTIRE LOLLYWOOD FISCAL YEAR (every movie: punjabi and urdu) DOES NOT ADD UP TO THAT $40 MILLION!!! lol. they're blowing up $40 million homes, can u imagine what their overall budget is for that movie???!! same goes for bollywood...they too can afford this stuff. lollywood unfortunately can't. that being said the quality is bound to differ from the other two. and we don't make crap all the time! if we did, then bollywood wouldnt copy us, right (sometimes)?!!!!
so we don't suck, or we don't make crap. how many bollywood films are hits?? they have their fair share of flops/crap too. our quality is weak, but we're slowly getting better!
other than that, you're 100% right ayeshakhan_fanatic...pakistani music is SECOND TO NONE! and their dramas the same.

now bollywood their movies make enough money for the producers to make another one, and some of their movies goes to oscars almost every damn year...its not how much money u spent on the movie, its the story,directions, script camera man background music, the sound the picture and the locations...ppl who work in lollywood for me they aint nothing but some bunch of wanabes...that's my opinion
and the FACT is bollywood movies are worth payin, even if its a copy cuz i know its gona be made perfectly...

can't argue with that. u're somewhat right.
but don't say money doesn't matter...you give a guy like sayed noor a budget even remotely close to that of a bollywood movie and i belive you'll have pakistan represented at the oscars too, some day. money DOES matter. its the difference (money) between a big actor and a minor one. its the difference between that big name music director and no-name music director. its the difference between the better sound/picture and the lesser quality sound/picture. money gets you all of these things, in the entertainment industry. so again...if we had money, our overall product would improve.
but you are right to a cretain extent. i'm not saying lollywood is better than both hollywood and bollywood. i'm simply saying they;re not far behind, and you need to look no further than upcoming movies like laaj, salakhein, and especially larki punjaban to see that.
so again, we kick ass when it comes to music in general, we kick ass when it comes to dramas, and watch out, cause soon enough...lollywood will be up there with its competitors too, atleast in my opinion!!

well the conclusion of this point is TIME, we just gotta wait and see what lollywood will do, cuz from many years, it haven't made that much of good movies, i think old paki movies, nadeem and waheed murad ones were better then these new ones...now that don't make me no loser, cuz movies are movies old or new...but as long as it is PERFECTLY MADE, that's what i look for in the movie...

"Yeh Dil aap ka Hawa" has released in Pakistan since one year,and this movie quality is any Hollywood sound quality and picture quality,and this movie is superhit against bollywood movie in uk,so it is releasing in canada and usa,dubai,first u see and then comments that in this movie which camera has been used,one bad paki movie dont mean that whole industry is crap,Pakistan has very talented people,remember industry situation has based on our society, U see every field of pakistan lack of tecnology so why only movie?be carefully comments here. Criticizim is most easily work in the world. well, lollywood is a synonym for a hilarious and deprived movie industry that produces movies their own people dont see. lol talkin about dramas, maybe that s the reason why indian channels were so popular in pakistan. does anybody watch ptv or whatever channels pakistan has to offer . they are a bloody joke.lol
