Fingers crossed
After a gap of five years Altaf Hussain's Dulhan Bantee Hain Naseebwaliyan is finally ready for release.

Meanwhile, Reema, the female lead, is keeping her fingers crossed and is hoping that this venture will be as successful as her last movie Koi Tujh Sa Kahan.

Well-laid plans
Saud may not have got any earth-shattering offers or made any notable inroads in the film world, but that hasn't deterred him from his chosen path. The actor is now looking for sponsors to begin production of his own film.

According to sources, Saud is not too keen on accepting negative or violent roles ever since his marriage so that his image is not tarnished in any way.

Double bonanza
Although Gia Ali is very busy with modelling assignments, she has found the time to accept an offer to star in a movie. When Parvez Kaleem approached her for his film Tum Se Pyaar Hai with a meaty role, Ali waved the green flag immediately.

But, the icing on the cake came in the form of Nadeem, who has been roped in to play the male lead. The two share a great rapport ever since her debut movie Diwane Tere Pyar Ke.

Role model
Say hello to Shah Rukh Khan's No:1 fan. Nadeem Shah, who is to play the role of Devdas in Iqbal Ansari's Lollywood version, has sworn his allegience to this actor. Just peek into the sets of Devdas and you will spot him striking tragic poses and emulating Khan's mannerisms and gestures.

Though film pundits have warned him about the perils of copying another actor blindly, Shah is determined to strike the Khan look.

Money talks
The lure of money is drawing actresses, who earlier swore by films, to TV serials like never before. Veena Malik, Resham, Sana and Zara Sheikh have all jumped on the tube wagon eagerly. Ironically, these are the same people who had panned TV serials as a "big drag".

Back on track
Anwar Rafi, the singer who crooned his way into people's hearts with his romantic songs, is planning a comeback. After a seven-year-break, Rafi is busy recording his new album and will release it as soon as he returns from his tour of the United States and Canada.
