ISLAMABAD: Imam of the Holy Kaaba Sheikh Abdul Rehman Al-Sudais has said that the Islam has forbidden from resorting to blasts and violent actions—spilling blood was not Islam—we should respect each other by shunning sectarianism—Pakistan was a country of those loving Deen-e-Islam—we stand by it as against its enemies.
Imam-e-Kaaba Sheikh Abdul Rehman Al-Sudais, while delivering his ‘Khutba’ on the eve of leading Friday prayers at the Faisal Mosque here, said, “The Muslims’ living and dieing are all for the God—we are Muslims and this is what is our life—the God bestowed us with the Holy Quran and this is our guide showing us way of life and morals—this Deen would never perish—it is there to live—it would grow stronger and stronger.
He said that Islam was a Deen of collective living with peace, tolerance and love—it has neither hostility nor enmity—it upholds human dignity—we should follow it. Islam has forbidden sectarianism and disorderliness—we are an Ummat—our God, our Holy Prophet, our Holy Quran and Kaaba is one then why this aloofness between us.
Imam-e-Kaaba said that our Holy places were in danger—Muslims all over the world were faced with threats whether it was Palestine or Afghanistan, Iraq’s civil war or Lebanon situation and, therefore, he urged upon the Muslims across the world to get united.
