Bevdadas: A spoof on Devdas
Rajan Waghdhare who had earlier directed a number of serials (Shriman Shrimati & Yes Boss) will now make his directorial debut in Bollywood with Bevdadas, a spoof on Devdas produced by Sahara in association with K Sera Sera.
The cast includes Johny Lever, Tanaaz Currim, Sudha Chandran & Himani Shivpuri in lead roles. While Johny Lever will play the role of Bevdadas, Tanaaz Currim will enact the role of Maro (similar to Ash's role in Devdas). Chandramukhi's role has not been finalized as yet.
The shooting will be completed by November and the movie is expected for a release in December this year.
