Sit and ponder beauty fair,
sun highlights reddish hair.
Far journey to anticipate,
contemplates as she waits.

Thoughts of words he said,
pictures dance within head.
Soon to be a loving wife,
in a new land, a new life.

Takes with her memories,
summer strolls, green leas.
Love of country and family,
engrained they shall be.

Life's stages come and go,
we move on, as we grow.
Promises made from heart,
