My Love Waits For Me

Toast my lady with chalice of wine
Come early morning, she shall be mine
By dawn's early light, my horse I ride

Across the meadow, over the dale
To the kingdom, anticipating
True love and my lady awaiting

Night has passed, still safe and sound
Say a prayer for safe passage found
The castle looms upon the mountain
My lady waits at garden fountain

Not much further till our wedded bliss
Our vows exchanged, sealed with a kiss
Into the garden, through gates of gold
Be still my heart such beauty to behold

Runs to my arms, then I swoop her up
Kisses taste like wine, from chaliced cup
This captured moment feels so divine
