When Lovers Dream

Once more twilight begins its descent,
overwhelming longing again for you.
Much too long circumstances prevent,
meeting of two sweet lovers so true.

Eyes shall never gaze upon each other,
the pain sometimes too much to bear.
Within silence both loving one another,
each day and night I long to be there.

Dreamlovers meet beyond moonbeams,
in slumber we can be happy and sing .
No one may take our beautiful dreams,
sharing whatever twilight may bring.
