Similar to the "Alternate" Air Jordan 4, this one is a nod to what MJ would've worn during his 1991 playoff run. The Air Jordan 6 Alternate extends Jordan Brand's "Alternate" color theme with the Air Jordan 6 silhouette. They're almost like a hybrid between the "Maroon" Air Jordan 6 and "Hare" Air Jordan 7 releases. Featuring a White perforated leather upper with Pure Platinum detailing and Gym Red accents on the lining, lace look and tongue. Completing the shoe is the year "1991" on the tongue and translucent soles. Dubbed, "Chameleon" this Air Jordan 6 features an iridescent leather upper that changes colors and also rubs off similar to the "Wings" Air Jordan 12. Other details include 3M reflective detailing, iridescent lace tips and midsole, while sitting atop a clear translucent outsole.
Jordans 2017 will be debuting an upcoming Air Jordan 6 Pinnacle release as part of their Air Jordan Retro Pinnacle lineup. This Pinnacle edition of the Air Jordan 6 is dressed in a Metallic Gold and White color scheme. Inspired by the 25th Anniversary of MJ's first championship and the Larry O’Brien trophy. This release features a full shinny Metallic Gold upper with White detailing. Completing the look is an icy translucent outsole. New Air Jordan Shoes, The Alternate version of the Air Jordan 7 Doernbecher features an all-Black upper that's built with a mix of suede and textured-graphic leather overlay. It also includes rock "n" roll accents like a guitar pick on the laces and a heel tab that resembles a guitar neck. Completing the shoe is Damien's "DJP" initials on the heel, along with an icy graphic outsole. This Alternate Air Jordan 7 Doernbecher version that was also designed by Damien Phillips to go along with his retail version of the Air Jordan 7 Doernbecher. Only 2 pairs of the Alternate Air Jordan 7 Doernbecher were made, so your chances of owning these are pretty slim to none. The Air Jordan 6 Hare is a brand new Air Jordan 6 colorway that takes its colorway from the Bugs Bunny-inspired Air Jordan 7. Dressed in a White, Pure Platinum and Gym Red color scheme. This Air Jordan 6 is actually a bit more closer looking to the "Maroon" Air Jordan 6. Featuring a White perforated upper with Soft Grey underlays and Red accents. 1991 is stitched on the inner tongue to represent the year that the Air Jordan 6 originally released. Unfortunately, the carrot inspired zig-zagging pattern on the tongue doesn’t exists on this release.
