While on Deepak Shivdasani, the director describes JULIE as a woman's journey from Goa to Mumbai. The film, which commenced shooting from October, is almost complete, barring a few days shooting. “Rao-saab [A. Purnachandra Rao, the producer of IDIOT] has spoilt me,” he laughs, “Now, I intend planning everything to the minutest, before embarking on start-to-finish schedules for all the films that I make henceforth.”
Shot in Goa and Delhi, Shivdasani describes JULIE as “a woman's [Neha Dhupia] journey and how three men [Sanjay Kapoor, Priyanshu and Yash Tonk] enter her life at different stages.” Incidentally, Neha plays a prostitute in the film.
