Earlier today we showed you a detailed look at the Black Undftd x
Drop Jordan. In that article, we said that there would probably be other shoes in
the collab and we may have gotten our first look at a second
pair.Courtesy of DJ Khaled's snapchat, we have a new look at a white
version of the Undftd x Air Max 97s. The pair appears to be identical in
every aspect with the exception of the replacement of Sail White where
the black was.
2017 is the 20th anniversary for the
Buty Jordan Sklep and Nike has done an amazing job this year dropping classic colorways of
the AM97 and innovating a bunch of new exciting colorways. Now, Nike is
teaming with UNDFTD to drop a special collaboration of the Air Max 97.
This shoe features a black mesh and patent leather upper with accents of
the UNDFTD's signature green and red. The red layer on the shoe has
"Undefeated" branding. The shoe is finished off with black laces and red
Nike "Swoosh" branding on the tongue.
"The
Cheap Air Max is one of those pinnacle sneakers that changed everything when it came
out. Nothing had looked like it at the time; the shape, lacing system
and metallic silver gave it a more premium feel people hadn't really
seen before. Upon its release it stopped everything, it screamed
future," says UNDFTD co-founder Eddie Cruz.There is no word on when this
shoe will be released but expect this shoe to be one of the biggest Air
Max releases when it does drop.
