Seahawks by 7.5: The Giants stunned the NFL with http://www.dantecubed.com/joe-looney-jersey-c-2_6.html a rousing upset of the Broncos and now they come home to face Pete Carroll's Seahawks. This is the second week in a row that Big Blue is facing a team coming off its bye. Can the Giants find any momentum with the way they performed in Denver and take a two-game winning streak into their bye?
Seahawks LB Bobby Wagner. With all the big names on the Seattle defense, Wagner is often the most overlooked. The two-time All-Pro has a team-high 41 tackles through five games and also ranks second on the team with three passes defensed, is tied for second with four quarterback hits, has one interception and one fumble return, which he returned for a touchdown in Seattles Week 4 win over Indianapolis. Wagner's also a cousin of Giants Ring of Honor member Justin Tuck. Don't be surprised to see Wagner all over the field.
Game plan
The Giants did an outstanding job up front offensively in preventing Broncos LB Von Miller from wrecking the game, even though he did record a sack of Eli Manning late. This challenge will be different, however, as the Seahawks can attack from a variety of spots, which will put pressure on all facets of the offensive line. Michael Bennett, Frank Clark and former Jet Sheldon Richardson lead the way. Obviously, the Seattle secondary - still the Legion of Boom - is ready, willing and able to take over. Safeties Earl Thomas and Kam Chancellor are the league's best tandem. Odell Beckham Jr.'s season-ending ankle injury robbed us of another classic showdown between Beckham and cornerback Richard Sherman. Can the Giants' defense follow its blueprint of dominating Denver's Trevor Siemian and do the same to Russell Wilson? Unlikely, but if Olivier Vernon (ankle) returns, he and Jason Pierre-Paul (three sacks against the Broncos) could give Seattle's beleaguered offensive line problems on the edge with DTs Damon Harrison and Dalvin Tomlinson continuing to play well inside. The Giants have allowed six touchdowns to tight ends in five games and now they have to try to slow http://www.cowboysprostore.com/robert-blanton-jersey-c-1_18.html down the Seahawks' Jimmy Graham. LB Keenan Robinson and S Landon Collins excelled in coverage with their best games of the season against the Broncos. It will be interesting to see if Giants can come anywhere close to their rushing output of last week when Orleans Darkwa topped the 100-yard mark for the first time.
