You forgot to mention that activated carbon is also used in some toothpastes. They help clean teeth better. Hope this helps. Thanks for sharing this post - Sylvan

I have the same issue as well. It's hard to find the right electrical lighting that reduces eye strain. Sometimes a darker light seems to help but I also find that LED lighting works fairly well as well.

I find it a bit difficult to travel with my cat but I always make it happen. She comes everywhere with me. :) If you thinking about taking her make sure to wipe your countertops before you leave the house.
