Himesh Reshammiya was first noticed in Bollywood for his work in the film Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya (1998). He became good friends with Salman Khan, a famous Bollywood actor who starred in the film, and composed songs for some subsequent film in which Salman starred. From this experience, Reshammiya was able to develop his own unique style of composition, based on pop music and catchy techno beats. He also places a particular emphasis on melodic hooks to his songs. His most popular albums can be said to be Tere Naam and Aashiq Banaya Aapne.
The media has advised Himesh to cut down work as he is working on 30-35 films (equivalent to half the films released in bollywood in 1 year). Aksar and Ahista Ahista are considered Himesh's best score this year after Tere Naam in 2003.

Mallika to play villain in Aap Ka Suroor

It’s breaking news. And as always you heard it first on Bollywood’s No. 1 IndiaFM. Actress, item girl, high profile stage show performer, nine-minute-claim-to-fame in a Jackie Chan film and another one going to be ‘Unveiled’ soon, it’s time Mallika Sherawat turned bad. In a big way. According to reliable sources, Mayya Mayya babe is all set to do play a negative character in man-with-the-cap Himesh Reshammiya’s debut film as an actor ‘Aap Ka Suroor’.
Produced by Vinay Tarneja and directed by Prashant Chadha, ‘Aap Ka Suroor’ is all set for a worldwide release on June 29th. A fresh new face Riya is being introduced along with Himesh. The same sources confirmed that Mallika’s character is pivotal to the story and one out of the seven tracks may be centred around her as well. So, more for this story stay glued to India FM.

Himesh’s Aap Ka Suroor To Have Two Endings

Himesh Reshammiya - The singer, who is making his debut as an actor in his film Aap Ka Surroor - The Real Love Story, is now going ahead and shooting two endings for his film. It has been learnt that two climaxes are currently being shot in Berlin, Germany. While one will be a happy ending where Himesh unites with his lady love (played by newcomer Riya), the second will have a tragic ending. The climax is action-packed to boot. There are two choppers and one private jet do the rounds in the sky, while 10 BMWs speed on the roads, for the final sequence.
A unit member present on the sets of the film informs, “The climax is being shot right now in Germany and obviously Himesh is taking a lot of pains to make it as interesting as possible. Interestingly, this film will reveal a lot many things about Himesh’s personal life as well, like why he seldom smiles, why he always wears a cap and why his music videos always have tragic endings. Will he be united with his heroine at the end? Well, that remains to be seen.”
When we contacted Himesh, he adds to the suspense, saying, “I’m not yet sure about the ending of my film. Whether it will be a sad or happy ending, you will have to wait and watch. Aap Ka Suroor will release on June 29. We’ll complete our 40-day shooting schedule in Germany on April 3, after which we will leave for a 35-day schedule in Bangkok and Singapore. However I would like to add that shooting all over Germany has been a great experience and God has been very kind since we got fantastic weather which suited the look of the film.”

Aap Kaa Surroor music released in Pakistan

This is for the first time that the music of an Indian film has been released in Pakistan. Himesh Reshammiya’s debut film Aap Ka Surroor, is the first Indian film that has released in Pakistan and is doing extremely well overseas.
Says an elated Himesh, “This will be first Hindi film album that has been permitted for release across the border. The album is my tribute to RD Burman, and boasts names like Asha Bhosle, Sunidhi Chauhan, and Shreya Ghosal."

Hansika Motwani Exclusive : From Child Artiste to Lead Actress in Aap Ka Suroor
This is the most shocking disclosure about Himesh’s upcoming film Aap Ka Surroor. The lead actress opposite Himesh in the film is none other than child artiste Hansika Motwani. Hansika is the same girl who was seen in the film Jaago starring Raveena Tandon. She was also child artiste in films like Hum Kaun Hai, Hawa and Escape From Taliban. She was also seen in the famous television soap, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. However, her most notable film is Hrithik Roshan starrer Koi Mil Gaya in which Hansika played one of the kids from the super-six group. Her last film as a child artiste was Dheeraj Kumar’s Aabra Ka Daabra which came out in December 2004.
Within a span of just two years, Hansika made her comeback in films but as a lead actress. Early this year, she made her debut in a Telugu film Desamuduru. And now, Hansika will soon make her Bollywood debut with Himesh Reshammiya in Aap Ka Surroor. She is however publicized as a debutant actress named Ria. Now, why would they try to hide her identity? In fact, even in the publicity stills of the film, all the pictures having Hansika are kept to minimum resolution, which makes it difficult to recognize her.
