According to UAE media, this unique and rare watch was in the possession of ex king of Egypt, King Farooq, which was auctioned for 3.3 million Dirham. After selling in such huge price, this watch has become to most expensive watch in the history of Middle East and this amount becomes 10 crore 37 lac and 45 thousands rupees.
This watch is made up of gold and the watching manufacturing company, Swiss was prepared especially for the Egyptian king as the King Farooq was fond of keep unique and rare watch and luxury
cars.
Recently, a conflict was surfaced regarding the ownership of the watch before its auction in which it was claimed that the royal family claimed that the watch was stolen. However, the management of the auction has rejected this claim. The management kept the name of the precious watch hidden. However, they say that the buyers from Dubai and other countries participated in the auction.
