Dil Dil Pakistan by Mizraab

Re: Dil Dil Pakistan by Mizraab - press release

Dil Dil Pakistan Metal version by Pakistani mad rockers Mizraab has been released on Pakistani Televison today 12 August 2004 - exactly 17 years after the original classic anthem by the Vital Signs. This is Mizraab at their most mature both musically and artistically.

Dil Dil Pakistan brought new life to Pakistani Music back in August 1987 in the form of Pop music. Let it this time be the birth of Metal music in Pakistan. Forward this message to all.

The sheer emotion and beauty of the song was something that hadn't been around in Pakistan since Sohail Rana or before.

Songs of such intensity are still lacking today and song writers write songs that sell, not realising they can never package singing from the heart.

Dil Dil Pakistan Metal version is a fine and fitting farewell to the Vital Signs and is certainly deserving of a place in the top 10 Pakistani singles of all time.

Wherever you are, whatever you do, never stop supporting Pakistani Metal and Rock music!

When a band does a re-make there will always be some that love it and some that hate it.

The question is - will Dil Dil Pakistan send Mizraab into Pakistani mainstream?
