I'm really surprised to hear that these shameful disgusting people are just getting fines, they should be publicly hanged or get there heads chpped off. Got the following from a news article:

The court first resolved to grant bail against Rs50,000 each, but the defence counsel prayed that the poor detainees were unable to pay the amount and the sums’ matter should be reviewed. The presiding officer reviewed the matter and later announced Rs10,000 each. Meanwhile, the SHO Saddar Police Station Inspector Hameed Ahmed Khan has been placed under arrest for his involvement.''
