Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education Bannu was established in 1990 after its separation from BISE Peshawar. Bannu District and its nearby districts come under the jurisdiction of Bannu Board. All the private and public schools and colleges in these districts are affiliated with BISE Bannu for matric and intermediate classes. Every year, thousands of regular and private students participate in the SSC part 1 & 2 and HSSC part 1 & 2 annual exams conducted by BISE Bannu. Bannu Board organizes matric annual exams in March and April and intermediate annual exams in May and June every year. In all the schools and colleges affiliated with BISE Bannu, the new academic year of matric and intermediate classes start in April and September respectively. For these classes, the process of admission and registration for new students starts two or three months earlier than the start of the new academic year. Thousands of students take admission and register themselves for the new session of these classes every year. Admission process completes in time. Model papers and past papers are very important for the SSC and HSSC class students of Bannu Board because these model papers and past papers help the students to get good marks in the exams. Model papers contain the most recent paper pattern and examination syllabus adopted by the board every year while past papers are helpful to know about the important questions expected to come in the exams. Model papers can be downloaded from the official site of the board while past papers are available from the market. Date sheets and roll number slips are very important part of exams which inform the students about every important detail of their exams. Date sheets show the examination schedule while students can know about their roll numbers, examination venue, time table and other instructions through roll number slips. BISE Bannu issues date sheets at its website about two months before the start of the exams while roll number slips are mailed to the mentioned addresses of the students one month before the start of the exams. March and April are the months during which SSC part 1 & 2 exams are conducted by Bannu Board while the HSSC part 1 & 2 annual exams are held in May and June. BISE Bannu announces the results of both these classes after two or three months of their annual exams. These results are available at the official site of the board soon after the result declaration while result cards are sent to the addresses of the students also.
