Three companies announced that they are working together to create a wearable device with discrete elements. They will connect users to the first responders, family and monitoring companies, at the touch of a button.
Each company will bring their knowledge to these devices. Qualcomm, of course, will bring in a Snapdragon Wear 1100 wearable omax device?, and ZTE will provide hardware and Wearsafe, a personal security platform.
Snapdragon Wear 1100, by the way, also means that it will be devices with low power consumption and support for the new generation of LTE worldwide. As for what we can expect from the functions, ZTE says that it will integrate the Wearsafe system into the device.
Usually, Wearsafe technology involves the provision of emergency contact in case of urgent need of assistance. So, at the touch of a button, they will receive information about your GPS location and the sound of what is
happening. The contact will also receive 60 seconds of buffered audio recorded before the user presses the button.
So far there is no evidence of when we can expect these personal security rado devices?, since the partnership has just begun, and development is certainly ahead.
However, seeing how these three companies come together for something that could potentially save a lot of people is a good sign for personal safety accessories around the world.
