Musician Amjad Boby dies

LAHORE, April 16(Online): Renowned musician Amjad Boby died of cardiac arrest during sleep at his residence. He was 55. His carrier spanned over 40 years of versatile and classical tunes. His memorable movies included Surgam, Ghoonghat, Qasam, Ghar Kub Aao Gae, Taerae Piyar Mae, Mushkil, Chief Sahib, Bhabi Diyan Choorian and many others.

His four films were still under production, which included Shehzad Gul's Eman, Javaid Sheikh's Khulae Asmaan Kae Neechae, Reema's Koi Tujh Sa Kahan and Javaid Raza's Koi Piyar Na Kurae.

Boby left behind a daughter and five sons to mourn his death. He was buried at the Wahdat Colony graveyard on Friday evening. A large number of showbiz personalities, friends and relatives attended his funeral.

im 2 shocked when i read it in newspaper i thought mayb he is someother coz the news was very short n in the corner no news on tv what a shame he was such a great music director.no wonder that film industry is going down

yeah the music he composed for YDAKH was great, and that was the only paki film music i liked
