On March 18, 2018, the woman became intoxicated while drinking at a nightclub inside the casino formerly known as the Sands Casino Resort
Bethlehem, according to court records. Tilley followed her into the
woman’s bathroom, before her next memory was waking up in a bed at St.
Luke’s University Hospital in Fountain Hill, said Assistant District
Attorney Tatum Wilson.
The woman believed she may have been sexually assaulted and agreed to submit to sexual assault testing. Though Tilley denied to police that
he had any sexual contact with the woman, the tests revealed his DNA on
evidence investigators recovered, police said.
By pleading no contest, Tilley admitted prosecutors could prove the allegations beyond a reasonable doubt. For the purposes of sentencing,
it is considered the same as an admission of guilt.
