Cardinals stun the Rams at home, or will the No. 2 overall pick from 2010 -

David Johnson. Johnson is healthy now, and given how the Rams are still looking
for consistency in run defense, I expect Johnson to put up big numbers on the
ground and as a receiver. However, I think several long drives will end in field
goals, and ultimately the Cardinals will be forced to throw. This will likely

back to their old selves. Now Arizona looked completely flat vs. the Redskins.
No energy, no charisma, no passion, so it looks like their better days are far
down the road. With Arizona’s RB David Johnson’s lone garbage time touchdown,
Arizona’s offense was nonexistent. This game feels like a, “How bad is this
going to look?” As the Rams will do what it takes to get to 2-0.Prediction: Rams

Cardinals looked like the worst team in the West against a really average
Washington team. I expect the Rams defense to get off to a better start,
primarily because the Cardinals offensive line is probably in the bottom-third

Johnson. Like last week, the Rams will face a good pair of guards in Iupati and
Pugh. The Cards will play mad after being humiliated last week, so the game will
stay close until midway through the second when they get Gurleyfied and rookie
center Mason Cole proves to be the weak link trying to help on Aaron Donald.

will likely be a good one, for Rams fans. The Rams defense will have an
opportunity to attack Arizona’s weakness, the offensive line. On the offensive
front, Rams RB Todd Gurley must be licking his chops as last week, Washington
running backs Adrian Peterson and Chris Thompson combined for over 150 yards
rushing and 130 yards receiving (280+ yards). Look for the Rams to pull away
early in the opener while limiting Arizona’s attack led by stud running back
David Johnson and former number one overall pick Sam Bradford.Prediction: Rams

going to scare the ball out of Bradford. Larry Fitzgerald is not going to be
enough to save that offense. As far as the Rams offense goes. The rust has

Brandin Cooks, and Robert Woods are going to do amazing wide receiver things.

their opener. Offensively, David Johnson looked rusty and Sam Bradford looked
like, well, Sam Bradford, as they were able to muster just 6 points on the day.

Samson Ebukam Jersey , they ceded 166 total yards to Adrian Peterson.Against Oakland, the Rams looked like a dominant team just waking up from a long nap.
Pretty sure they’ll be woke for their home debut. Gurley eats, Goff finds his
deep ball touch and Ndamukong Suh exacts draft-day vengeance on Sammy
B.Prediction: Rams win, 30-17misone (@MightyorMisone)This might turn out to be
the most competitive matchup in the division this year. I think the cards
defense will be good. And once the rust gets knocked on on DJ they will be much
better offense. However the rams could be the most gifted team in the league. I
expect a battle early on but ultimately I think the cardinals will lose gas.
Gurley should have a big day against them. 165 total yards and 2 TDs is very
possible. Goff may have about 230 yards and a TD himself.Prediction: Rams win,

who is also not good at quarterback. Aaron Donald should have a great reunion

to be a blowout. The Rams defensive line will absolutely dominate this game,
maybe to the point where Sam Bradford doesn’t even finish the game. I also

Rams will move the ball again. Establish Todd Gurley, work off of the play
action, and hook up on some deep passes this time around. Oh, and look for JoJo

They entire squad will either be batting 1.000 or .500 come the conclusion of
Sunday’s game. As a note, of the 19 TST staffers making predictions, only two
have the Rams scoring less than 30 points. Two others have them scoring over 40.

aka Rob Havenstein 2 (RH2), will initially be the understudy at right tackle.In
all seriousness, other than being a big ol’ right tackle from the University of
Wisconsin, David Edwards and Rob Havenstein aren’t really the same player.As a
former high school quarterback and tight end, Edwards will initially rely on his
feet and ability to get to the second level of defenses as opposed to his
strength like Havenstein. Edwards does a pretty good job of controlling
defenders with his long arms but will need to develop some man-strength to be a
hit in the NFL. If Offensive Line Coach/Run Game Coordinator/Co-Offensive
Coordinator Aaron Kromer can help nurture Edward’s technique, the 2019 NFL Draft
5th-round pick could end up being a part of the Rams’ offensive line for many
seasons to come. Position BattleWhile technically a right tackle
John Johnson Jersey , the Rams will cross train Edwards at the two tackle and guard positions to see where Edwards fits best. This is a similar approach to
how the team prepared Joseph Noteboom a year ago, and Noteboom is now projected
as the team’s starting left guard. Of course, that isn’t cemented as the Rams
now have solid understudies in Edwards and 2019 3rd-round selection Bobby Evans.
At the guard positions, projects Jeremiah Kolone (roster preview), Chandler
Brewer (roster preview), Brandon Hitner (roster preview) and Jamil Demby (roster
preview) will all battle to provide depth. ExpectationsEdwards’ ability to play
tackle should help him make the cut. Behind starters Andrew Whitworth and
Havenstein, the only potential tackles on the roster are Noteboom, Evans, and
Edwards all of whom should make the active roster.Chances of Making The Final
Roster (8/10)The path is there. Be versatile. Lift weights. Study.It’ll be
interesting to see who emerges out of Noteboom, Evans and Edwards down the line.
Noteboom looked pretty good in spots last season and had a head start, but if
two of the three can be solid players the Rams will be feeling good about
things.
