yes i am not in favour of spamming hell either...cuz jo members sara sara din post ker k get ony 30-40 posts...and then there r some jo udher spam ker ke get 300 in an hour...to this is unfair to others i think...i dunno what new members feel, but old members jo aram aram se post kertay hain..they feel left behind by others who just come and go into spamming hell and increase their post counts

k back to topic...well...if a member or members have reasonable problem with a topic then yes it gets closed..offcourse...and in this case, i know k there r many members who r not in favour of spamming hell...and since majority of members..especially active members r not in favour of spamming hell...it can be closed right away too, but since there r some members i know in favour of spamming hell too...that's why they should be given a chance too...to speak up...k why should spamming hell stay open?
