hey, i just downloaded the album and heard it.

Overall, i didnt really like it and it was below my expectations .

heres track by track:

Dheere Jhalna-9/10. This is the best track from the film, well sung by Sonu Nigam.

Kangna re-7/10. Not a bad track. this song is more girly like and is suited for the Mehndi functions in shaadis

Phir Raat Kati- 4/10. This fast paced tune sucks and the way Sukhwinder and Sunidhi sang it is horrible. but lyrics are okay

Laaga re jal laaga- 5/10. i dont really understand what their sayin in this track and its hinduish type. Sung by Sonu Nigam

Khaali hai tere bina-5/10. Very slowww track and boring. but very good lyrics. sung by Hari haran.

Minnat Kare- 6/10. this song is more for girls n more related to the mehndi theme, even though the title is "Minnat kare"

Phir raat kati(Part 2)-4/10. the same thing as the first one

Dheere Jalna(instrumental)-9/10. nice, touching music

so overall, the track gets about a....

after many srk music albums that i liked in a row (Chalte Chalte,Kal Ho Na Ho, Main Hoon Na, Veer Zaara, Swades and Kaal), this is the one that sort of brings me down

i heard the music, n i think u'll start likin it after listenin to the album a lil more...cuz the first time i heard it, i hated it as well but then again, i hated lucky's music as well, but after watchin the movie i don't know i liked it, so i guess it happens...or maybe just not ur type of music...ne thing is possible...

Music is very nice...It sounds like Laagan or Devdas which is kind nice cuz i like classic music

well i do like classical music but sometimes. I loved Lagaan's music and only a few songs i liked in Devdas, i thought the rest was boring. And i only like 2 songs in the new movie Taj Mahal. And of course, i liked all the songs in Veer Zaara.

hmmmm, im startin to like Laaga re jal laaga's tune a little more, but i dont like the "hinduish" lyrics.


Hey YAS, i thought Classical music isnt ur type..

also the Classical music can be composed muchhh better then this.

still, srk's other movie songs are much better then this

exactly classical music aint my type, but if the lyrics are good, i'll go for it...
cuz even in Devdas i only like Woh Chand Jaisi Larki, n the rest was very slow n boring...but in paheli i like the songs, cuz Gulzar has written some good lyrics, Dil Se is also one of my fav albums...

yea i really liked Dil se. actually, i like most of AR Rehman's albums cuz you just get a diff feel to it.


yo can u tell me the meaning of the lyrics of Laaga re jal laaga? cuz i dont understand most of it
