Airbus settles corruption probe for €3.6bn
Airbus says it has agreed a settlement with French, British and US authorities for €3.6bn (£3bn) following lengthy investigations into allegations of bribery and corruption. The European planemaker, based in Toulouse in south-west France, said the deal was subject to approval by courts in the three countries.
