N95 Mask A day after asking doctors to reuse their masks four times authorities
from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) New Delhi have
issued a one-page standard operating procedure for doing so on
Wednesday. After using a mask for a day it has to be numbered and kept
in a correspondingly numbered “big brown bag” for four days before
reusing it; “sunlight is not necessary”.

The notice accessed by NewsClick read “As desired by the competent authority viz Director AIIMS
it has been decided that N95 masks will be provided to all healthcare
workers involved in direct patient care...it is imperative that in
accordance with evidence based scientific literature these N95 masks are
to be disinfected by individual users (by keeping them in open after
use or by other methods) and reused at least 4 times each whereby these
will suffice for about 20 days.”

According to the circular the Surgical Mask AIIMS will provide the N95 masks to each healthcare worker involved in
direct patient care. This includes doctors both Faculty and Residents
nursing officers technical staff security guards and maintenance staff.

Guidelines for reusing masks have been issued by the CDC keeping in mind the
shortage during the Covid-19 crisis but that has come after many
American hospitals reached near-capacity. The United States leads the
world in the number of Covid-19 infections with close to 400,000 cases.
In comparison India has a little over a tenth of that number.

To protect against Coronavirus you are recommended to buy cheap KN95 Face
Masks including KN95 Medical Mask & KN95 Disposable Mask with CE FDA
Certificate. z2u.com can meet all your requirements.
