Demi Lovato’s new album CONFIDENT came out this week, and it’s arguably the singer’s strongest work yet. It showcases her incredible range, superb songwriting chops, and definitely displays a more mature side. While we wax poetic over the days of Camp Rock and Sonny With a Chance, there’s no doubt that Demi is much older and much wiser now. 1. Her middle name is Devonne. So if you’re wondering where the name of her skincare line of work came from, now you have your answer!
2. She recently signed to major modeling agency Wilhelmina Models “I’m thrilled to sign my best major modeling contract with Wilhelmina,” Demi said in a statement. “I’m very excited to see where our work together will go creatively as I enter the next phase of my line of work and continue to develop as an artist.”
3. Demi is a huge advocate for mental health. She started a joint campaign with five mental health organizations called “Be Vocal: Speak Up for Mental Health” and started an annual fundraiser to raise money for Mental Health Awareness. This year’s concert featured Bea Miller, Christina Perri, Joe Jonas, and Demi herself.
