I heard on the tv it grossed over a 1 million dollars in north america the 2 weeks it was out and it's close to grossing a million dollars in the uk

In a written statement to this writer, Yash Raj Films has informed that the 2 week gross of SALAAM | NAMASTE is approx. Rs. 31 crores. The breakdown is as follows:-

U.K.: $ 934,200
U.S.A.: $ 1.08 million
Australia: $ 241,000 [highest ever]
U.A.E.: $ 350,000 [1st week]

Total Overseas Gross [in 2 weeks]: $ 3.06 million – INR 13.50 crores
Total India Gross [in 2 weeks]: INR 17.50 crores
Total Worldwide Gross [in 2 weeks]: INR 31 crores

The statement adds that SALAAM | NAMASTE is by far the biggest solo hit of Saif Ali Khan’s career and will surpass even HUM TUM.

saw the movie. 1st half was awesome

2nd half

overall movie was good(actually, ok),

but was just so modern! what the hell is happening to Yash and Aditya Chopra???they used to make the best family movies.

in the theaters it was SO embarrasing watchin those scenes wit my freakin parents sittin next to me

yepp..there goin to ... together.
the film is really modern n i was kinda shocked.
i loved the 1st half but once the 2nd half started i felt like turning it off and u just cant watch tht wit ur family.

I finaly found the time to watch the movie, SALAAM NAMASTE, and its a beautiful movie wuth a great story, but OH MY GOD the love scenes were beyond NOT NORMAL, o my god the crossed all limits, I loved the end, but i think that had to they had to put a scene extra in the end, so you can see how they living together,Saif was very funny in the movie i loved the scene when he is getting her icecream in the middle of the night.

hey guys.... Salam Namste is for the very modern people kinda movies
i didn't expect Saif n Preity to be in a scene tat is so steamy.....

but i hate the 2nd part of the movie where preity got pregnant n saif is so sh*tty doen't wann ab eresponsible for his actions..... and he still has the cheek to ask preity " how did it happen?"

but i love the songs a lot...... now Bollywood films are like a bit Hollywoody...... even in Bunty aur Babli, Rani n Abhisekh kinda steamy role there..... ya n this kinda movies not suitable to watch wif parents who are typical.....
