T-Mobile offers a new way to test network coverage in the SLOTXO areas where they live. In the changes detected by Light Reading, the carrier has expanded its existing Test Drive program to include an eSIM-compatible iPhone. To take advantage of the promotion,

you need an iPhone XS or later with iOS 14.5 or later installed. on your device If you meet these requirements You can download the Network Test Drive app and follow the onscreen instructions to get up to 30 days of free data or 30GB.

while testing the network You don't even need to change your phone number or provide billing information to T-Mobile. What's more, if you have an iPhone 12, you can also try the carrier's 5G connection, as The Verge notes.

The Test Drive program has been around since 2014. If you don't have access to an eSIM compatible phone, T-Mobile will lend you a WiFi hotspot instead. Basically, this gives people a more hassle-free way to take advantage of the program.
