It's way too late for this Independence Day weekend (and even if it does, probably next year), but the Boring Company wants to get you to Fort Lauderdale Beach. This is apparent from the tunnel company's latest offer.
It proposes a tunnel loop that would connect the center and the beach. The Las Olas Loop would be an "innovative and unprecedented" way to manage traffic congestion and transit needs, mayor Dean Trantalis claimed.

The city commission will vote on the slotxo proposal later this week, and accepting the offer would be a big win for the Boring Company. This particular Musk-helmet company hasn't had much success until now when it comes to putting cities on passenger loops, and has even shifted some of its focus to larger cargo tunnels. The only existing tunnel, in Las Vegas, was launched in June.

But hey, who doesn't want to go to the beach?

Apple made a handful of major changes and a host of smaller ones for its special iPadOS update. According to Nathan Ingraham of Engadget, they all create an experience that makes the iPad more customizable and flexible than before.
