In the recent past, a so-called Islamic website has been launched by Babar Razzaq Chaudhry, (Alrehman- Alrahem.com) claiming to be an Islamic scholar. This group is Toheedi Group, headed by Babar Chaudhry. The activities of this group are dubious and mostly youngsters affiliated with showbiz are becoming its members. In order to attract influential people, interviews of prominent personalities are telecasted, lauding activities of this group. They also use a TV Channel for its promotion.
Few armed forces Officers have also been interviewed at IDEAS/ITCN Expo Exhibition, which were aired on a local private channel. Few TV stars also been showing interviewing people locally and abroad, visiting different places like markets, exhibition, jails, hospitals, and others, in order to publicize the so called religious group of Babar Chaudhry.
Babar Chaudhry was brought up in PECHS Karachi. In mid eighties, he went to United States. His old colleagues know him as a cheat. In early eighties, he eloped a Christian lady for which FIR was lodged is PS Ferozabad. He got married to another lady named SAIRA (d/o an Italian Jew). The father of the girl was very rich who financially supported Babar Chaudhry.
In year 2001, once he was caught red-handed interacting sexually with her student, Shela, in his centre, he was forced to contract marriage with her to avoid his murder, as the man who saw them, threatened to kill him if he did not marry the girl.
After only six month, he contracted marriage with another student of his centre, Sadaf.
It is permitted that Babar Chaudhry is associated / sponsored by US/ Jewish community in order to deviate the young mid-aged generation from the basic concepts of Islam. His recommended visas are honored by US consulate. The number of his followers is increasing rapidly. Mostly youngsters who are living modern life style are attracted to this group.
“Jamiah Binoria Karachi” has issued to Fatwa against Babar Chaudhry, advising Muslim community to avoid interaction with him.

Following activities have been observed at the residence of Babar Chaudhry, while delivering lecturers to his followers:
i) Males and females sit together and Parda is not observed.
ii) All the participants sit bare-headed while reciting the Holy Quran.
iii) Babar Chaudhry himself sit on the stage which his sit on the ground with the Holy Quran in their hands.
iv) At the ends of the lecture, the participants put the Holy Quran in their bags and carry it on their backs like ordinary school books.
v) No one can contact the centre directly. All new entrants are asked to get prior appointment. After proper verification, appointment is given.
