I just joined here as I am in great need for help. We are planning to
move to Shanghai soon with 1 kid 4 years old. I am a really worried as I
have read a lot about the air pollution issues. I would like to know
what people who has actually traveled to that part think about the
intensity of pollution. Will my kid become sick due to the bad air
quality?. Should I limit his outdoor activities. It is very far away,
I’m having a lot of issues with the moving. I contacted a long distance
moving company in Canada, they will take care of our luggage. But I’m
really worried about this pollution. Please share some advice. I don’t
want my kid to suffer.

They have so many people there. Somehow they've managed to survive and multiply

Yes, it's true. Shanghai has the most polluted air in the world, so I would not advise you to move to that city if you are not indifferent to your health. My friend moved to Shanghai 10 years ago, and now he has been diagnosed with lung cancer, and now he is on the verge of death. But whether the dirty air of Shanghai is to blame, I do not know. I am considering that my friend has never smoked in his life! And I know that many people suffer from lung diseases in this city. And you also have small children. I would not risk it on your side and would think about moving to another town. For example, the cleanest air in the world is in Australia. I think it's great to live there. I'm thinking about moving to this country myself.
