I’m a year away from my 40th birthday and planning a big getaway to celebrate. The problem I’m having is coming up with ideas.

I’m open to any and all suggestions ... cost is not a factor. Well, put
it this way, cost is not the top consideration! The only
requirement is the destination has to be warm in March. A
destination with least a little history or culture would be a nice
bonus.

So, fellow FOHs, any ideas?

Have you thought about renting a yacht for you and your family? I celebrate my 50th birthday like that. This whole idea started when my wife and I were looking at yacht rentals in Miami just for fun. I have to admit that it's pretty expensive to charter a yacht, but if you want to have an epic and memorable birthday party, I think it's totally worth it. I chose a crewed yacht, which made the process even easier for me. I have to admit that it cost a bit more, but I don't regret it at all. My guests were super delighted with the turnout of the party.
