As per [u]Turkish Airlines pet policy[/u], you can fly with pets such as dogs, cats, or small songbirds such as canaries and parakeets in the cabin (PETC), as checked baggage in the hold, or as manifest cargo. Pet reservations must be made and confirmed at least 6 hours prior to departure.
According to the Turkish Airlines pet policy:
Small dogs, cats, and birds (parakeets, canaries, parrots, pigeons, goldfinches, etc.) can travel in the cabin if the combined weight of the pet plus the carrier does not exceed 17.6 lbs / 8 kg.
Pets must have all necessary vaccinations, health certificates, and entry permits required by transit/destination locations.
You must confirm the pet's reservation at least 6 hours before departure.
The following pets are not allowed on the same plane:
Cats and dogs
Pets Welcome: Only small dogs, cats, and birds, such as parakeets, canaries, goldfinches, etc., can travel in the cabin on most flights. However, parrots and pigeons can only travel in the hold of the aircraft (AVIH).
