Microsoft Outlook Password reset email does not work
When using Microsoft Outlook, you will sometimes find that within the password reset email,
Microsoft Outlook Password reset not working. This is often due to a security setting within Microsoft Outlook. Follow the instructions below to allow clickable links within Outlook.
- Click File > Options > Mail > Editor Options > AutoCorrect Options > AutoFormat.
[/*]- Place a checkmark in the "Hyperlinked Internet and network paths" in the Replace section
[/*]- Place a checkmark on "plain text email documents" in the Always auto-format section
[/*]- Have the password reset email sent again and retest
[/*]- Note: Outlook also disables clickable links in emails it believes to be spam. If the above doesn't work, try going to Home > Delete Group > Spam > Spam Options. Click the Options tab, and then remove the checkmark next to "Disable links and other features in phishing messages"

Follow these steps to create a new one:- Go to the Reset Your Password page.
[/*]- Choose the reason you need to reset your password, then click Next.
[/*]- Enter the email address, ph.no. o Skype ID that you used when you created your Microsoft account. This can be any email address or an email ending in a Microsoft domain such as hotmail.com or Outlook.com.
[/*]- Enter the characters you see on the screen (this lets us know you're not a robot), then click Next.
[/*]- If you have security information on your account, we'll send a unique code to your alternate phone number. or the email address you provided to us. After entering that code on the next screen, you will be able to create a new password.
