well castt includes fawad iman ali and shan in the lead the music of the movie has been done although i dont know yet that whoz the music composer for the film and recently the processgin work of the film has been completed in india now thats the latest news till now.

Well, yeah you've heard it right. Ahmed Jahanzeb is recording songs for Shoaib Mansoor's 1st movie Khuda Ke Liye, he will be singing in for Shaan and from what we’ve heard, Fawad of EP is also in the movie and none other then Shuja Haider will be singing for him in the movie! So let’s see what happens!
One thing which I can't understand that the shooting of the film is complete and its in post production then why is our media reporting the above unless they have to still shoot the songs.
Any how at last one will not hear Indian singers voices in a big Pakistani movie.
Well done Shoaib Mansoor just wish that others can learn from you.

and I have read in weekly magazine..that one song has shot in ptv lahore studio.... amazing and shoib mansoor used a movie camera and and own light in that shooting.... I pray this movie must be great successful

STORY OF THE FILM The film is a unique third world country independent feature film being directed by one of Pakistan's top television and music video directors, Shoaib Mansoor. It is entitled 'Khuda Ke Liye', the English title being 'In the Name of God'.
The film intends to bridge the existing gap between the western and Muslim world. It is pre-911. It is a story of two brothers, Mansoor and Sarmud. The younger one, Sarmud, is lured into extremist thinking by a group of radicals who exploit and brainwash him. Mansoor goes to U.S.A. to pursue education where he meets Janie. She wants the relationship to be permanent but he is apprehensive. Mansoor and Sarmud's uncle who is living abroad cannot accept his daughter’s approach towards life and brings her to Pakistan where she is forced into a marriage in a tribal village and abandoned.
After 9-11 Mansoor is suspected as a terrorist because of his brother and stays under interrogation for months. There is another turn around in Surmad’s life but now there is no going back for him. Mansoor stays in lockup till he finally loses his mind.
The essence of the film is to see how Islam is being misinterpreted by some and how moderate Muslims in the world are torn between two worlds. Their image is being destroyed by a small minority holding a totally different point of view. On the other hand they are being profiled against by the western world because their faith has the same name as the extremists."

story is very complex i must say its only shoiab mansoor who can handle it well.the film kooks like as art movie with no song picturisation in usal way.it will b more like an english film i guess.correct me if im wrong.

the film is being finaced by the gov. and musharaf himself asked shoaib to make a film to revive the industry and told him he will give shoaib finace for it and make it a big budget film

If yoyo what you are saying is true then its a good move. Shoaib Mansoor more then anyone deserves the government finance to make his movie. He is without doubt the most talented person we have in Pakistani showbiz.
What is surprising is why have the government been very quite on this. If the government is really serious about giving finance to film makers then will it not be better if they come up with some criteria and give finance to all deserving candidates.

well mr nice the problem is that we also have directors like sangeeta ,masood butt,parviez rana and few others who r in the deserving list but u know what if govt will give more then 10 carores to these people they r still gonna make a crapp 3rd class punjabi movie with better sound and picture lol

Directors like Pervaiz Rana, Masood Butt or others will the last people that the goverment should give any money too.
What I am trying to imply that they are alot of young and up coming directors especially from Karachi who want to get in to film making but cannot because of financial constraints.
A lot of them are just wasting there talent by making short films or tele films. The same goes to a number video directors who are also having same problems.
