This investment will generate about 50 new jobs. The company said that the new facility will have state-of-the-art equipment and technology to "serve the most demanding requests in today's silicone injection molding industry."
"We are excited about locating our new facility in York county," said Michael Maloney, president of Silcotech North America, in a news release. "South Carolina has the right mix of business-friendly climate, skilled workforce and market access we were looking for in establishing a new facility. We appreciate all the support we've received from state and local officials."
