Ajnabee Shehr Mein is a film being directed by the ace Pakistani ad-film maker Saqib Malik. The film stars Ali Zafar, Shaan, Samina Peerzada and the ramp-model Tooba Siddiqui. It is being produced by the recording industry tycoon Khalid Sadaf. Shanee scores the music. The film is an urban thriller set in the Pakistani metropolis Karachi, and the shooting commenced in April 2006. Sarmad Sultan Khoosat has penned the script. The film is currently in production

Synopsis

The film is a coming of age tale of non-native Pakistanis who land in Karachi to discover their destinies. A mystery/thriller angle has also been hinted at by the director.

first of all shooting has started and secondly khalid sadaf has backed down and not producing the film anymore.


the film was suppose to be launched this month, september so lets see what happens and if khalid sadaf still produces it or frieha altaf. if it is launched this month then shooting should begin by october/november.

Yoyo's info is spot on. This is also what I have read.

I feel really sorry for Saqib Malik because for over 6 months he has been waiting to start the film but no producer. He is not the only one because they are other talented people who want to get in to films but finance is the biggest hinderence.

The new Youth Channel"AAG"has a program Cell 224 in which they bring one celebrity every week and interview them in a very rude manner(Like inspectors do with the culprits)and many secrets are revealed!
And guess wat our very own Saqib Malik has been invited in the show and in the ad they show the host is say"Sab kahrahein hein Saqib Malik Ki Film arahi hai"and many more...

I saw that programme once where they interview celebrities it is good. Guess who they had last show it was MEERAH! The man really took the nikky out of her. She said everything written in the media was false. She got really angry with the interviewer! Like in one report in a paper was written that she said all pakistani actresses actors look all rubbish to her! but she said it was made up. God it was a good show but you can tell that meerah was lying tho

A person like Shoaib Alam shuld use new talent instead of old directors now!Even the producer of KPNK,Khawaja Tariq Tahir shuld go for newcomers!
