Appreciate I'm probably setting up a load of bots to arrive but has anyone got a preferred site for city break accommodation, or any general tips/ "hacks" to get best price.I feel like I used to be ahead of the curve on these things 15-20 years ago but less so now (hostelworld was a godsend)Not asking for any specific city tips, just in general. Had mixed experiences with Airbnb places so ruling that out for now.

Most hotel brands now offer at least equal, if not lower, costs as aggregator sites. Do you have any affiliation, like IHG, Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott, or are you a free agent? Do you have a credit card that might offer a reward or cash back with certain brands?
