To say good bye to life on earth,
to recollect my joys and worth.
To sit and contemplate and pray,
each blessing God brought my way.

My life in length, was stature tall,
I found the greatest gift of all.
Love came into a lonely heart,
God alone, let salvation start.

I will sit and wait patiently,
enjoy the time bestowed on me.
With joyousness and jubilation,
I wait without hesitation.

To bid farewell to those held dear,
hold each one close and dry each tear.
I now smile, He comes for me,
one last mile, to walk for Thee.
