THE REPORTS ARE COMING UP AS THE NEW MOVIE 'SOOHA JORA' HAS MANAGED TO ROCK THE BOX OFFICE. STORY IS BASED ON THE DARKEST TRADITION OF 'VANNI' IN AN EFFECTIVE WAY AND THE TITLE SONG IS HIT TOO. FAMILIES TURNOVER IS VERY ENCOURAGING AS WELL.
I NEVER HAD SO MUCH EXPECTATION ABOUT THE MOVIE AS IT HAS BEEN PRODUCED BY 'NARGIS' AND DIRECTED BY 'PERVEZ RANA' . PLEASE ANYBODY CURRENTLY IN PAKISTAN CAN TELL ME HIS FEED BACK REGARDING THE MOVIE????!!!!!
Well yesterday Movie Review was show on GEO!
It was 1st day and cinema was jam-packed!
All the 3 shows were like these!
The public has liked the movie and ya its a hit!
Through i expected the movie will be having a cheap story with full vulgurlarity but when i saw the clips ummm...the story and dialouges were quite powerful!
Unfortunately Mein Ek Din... is doing a bit low business than Sooha Jora!
A few weeks ago when I read that the film was made on the Vanni custom I did have a feeling it do well at the box office.
Its simple basically the viewers have been given something new story wise. This should be a lesson to all Punjabi filmmakers who are hell bent on making Punjabi films with the 3Vs (Violence, Vengence and Vulgarity).
Any how this is good news for upcoming quality Punjabi films like Mohabbatan Sachchian, Chana Sachi Muchi and Zille Shah.
I do hope that Main eik din Loat kat aao ga ends up doing well at the box office and turns out to be a hit.
One thing what the critics have started talking is that it does not matter if you complete all your film in India or have Indian Stars it still does not guarentee success.
Critics are giving examples of Majajan and know Sooha Jora both Pakistani productions doing well.
Its high time that except for post production we should stop going to India and stop wasting money and time.
We need to concentrate on the basics of good film making.
Also someone somewhere somehow should get the latest film making facilties in Pakistan. Its a joke the facilties which are being used in Pakistan.
we r lacking good and different scripts these days people have soo many options that they r not keen to watch an average movie so one thing for sure that movies with good & different scripts r gonna rule the box office and iam talking abt nationwide success unlike majajan and chorian which where block buster hits in just one region.
. PLEASE ANYBODY CURRENTLY IN PAKISTAN CAN TELL ME HIS FEED BACK REGARDING THE MOVIE????!!!!!
